We Interupt for This Important Message

Posted By Gary Renick on February 13, 2009

I have been watching as a new house goes up across the street from me and it makes me mad to hear builders talk about how difficult is to make a new house accessible or at least visitable for someone in a wheelchair. It would be just as easy to pour the walkway to the door so that there is a zero threshold as it is to not. It is just a matter of nailing the board that is there anyway at an angle. It would make it easier for mom to get the stroller in with the baby. All homes built right now should be this way. It so frustrating for me and others in wheelchair to sit back and watch as the world is intentionally built to exclude us. Breath Peace and God’s Love………………………………….
